Augustus Martin’s print warehouse suffered from a severe pigeon infestation, which compromised employees’ health and safety and resulted in losses due to spoilage. The infestation had become worse over several years as constant use of the roller door afforded the pigeons easy access. In February 2016, 16 nests were removed from the corners of the warehouse, and the nesting sites and adjacent areas were treated with Bird Free Optical Gel.
